Covered Academy
offers a baseball skills and instructional academy in the fall of each year. This youth academy is specifically designed to teach younger players the fundamental skills of the game of baseball. Our academy includes skill-specific instructional hitting, fielding and pitching for players from 7 to 14 years of age. Our instructional baseball academy is a six week program that unlike other programs gives the players a mix of instruction and actual game time to perfect the skills that they have learned during the instruction period. Each session will be three hours consisting of a 1 1/2 hour instruction period and 1 1/2 hours of game play. All game time will be done from pitching machines to help the players gain more confidence at the plate.
It is very important to the staff at Bases Covered Academy to maintain a quality instruction period for the players. To do so we will keep the player to instructor ratio to a minimum to maintain a quality baseball program.
